Ingredients

Batter

  • 1 Cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1 Tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 Cup Full Cream Milk
    At room temperature
  • 56 Grams Unsalted Butter
    Melted and cooled
  • 2 Tsp White Sugar
  • ¼ Tsp Kosher Salt
  • 2 Eggs

Method

In a large bowl

  • 1 Cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1 Tsp Baking Powder
  • 2 Tsp White Sugar
  • ¼ Tsp Kosher Salt

Combine dry ingredients together in one bowl

In a separate bowl

  • 1 Cup Full Cream Milk
    At room temperature
  • 56 Grams Unsalted Butter
    Melted and cooled
  • 2 Eggs

Mix together wet ingredients in a separate bowl.

Ensure as much as possible that they are the same temperature.

Hot melted butter will begin to cook the eggs. Cold milk will prevent the butter from mixing smoothly.

Combine wet bowl contents with the dry bowl. Mix together until reasonably smooth.

Working too much will create more gluten.

Pour into waffle iron of your choice.
